Balsam poplar essential oil has a fresh, resinous and sweet woodsy aroma. This is an excellent oil to use for deep emotional healing! It is truly restorative for the entire body and spirit, and very useful for skin care – soothing irritation, and nourishing scars. Balsam Poplar is a fantastic oil to use for relieving sore and achy muscles and joints. Blend with our Tamanu or Trauma Carrier oils for added relief and benefits.

Steam distilling our organically crafted balsam poplar oil is a tedious job. It involves collecting the buds from the tree deep in the Canadian forests. Balsam Poplar blends well with black pepper, ginger, jasmine, lavender, patchouli, petitgrain, rose, sandalwood, and ylang ylang essential oils.

Chemical families: Sesquiterpenols and Sesquiterpenes. Shelf life is 8 years. Some drug interactions are possible.
