Neroli (Citrus aurantium var. amara) is a fragrant evergreen with glossy dark green leaves and white flowers. It is native to the Far East and has adapted well in the Mediterranean. It is produced in Italy, as well as Tunisia, Egypt, America and France. It is known for its ability to alleviate depression, ease anxiety, and soften skin. This intoxicating oil is processed from the freshly picked blossoms of the tree and steam distilled. It is a pale yellow liquid, with a sweet, floral, citrusy fragrance. Neroli oil has a deeply relaxing effect and helps with the problems of emotional stress. It is very supportive of the circulatory, and digestive system and helps tone the complexion, and rejuvenate the skin.
