Rose Otto (Rosa x damascena) is organically grown in Bulgaria requiring very specific soil and climate. It is a small prickly shrub with very fragrant, pink blossoms. It is the steam distilled version of Rose essential oil. Petals are harvested early in the morning when the oil content is at its peak in the Bulgarian countryside. It takes as much as 2 tons of rose petals to produce one pound of Rose essential oil. Steam distillation produces a sweet-floral and slightly spicy, wonderfully relaxing scent, pale yellow to olive in color.

This oil can be used to help to promote calm for mind and body; a spirit of well-being.
