Tulsi (Holy Basil) is grown and distilled for aromatic, medicinal and spiritual purposes for centuries. It is used extensively in India and within Ayurvedic practices. Tulsi is a chemotype of basil that’s rich in a component called “eugenol.” (The chemical constituent that gives clove oil and cinnamon leaf its characteristic aroma).

Tulsi has a fresh, sweet, spicy aroma that makes it especially nice to work with when creating blends for men. Our organically crafted Tulsi essential oil is steam distilled from the flowers and leaves of herbs cultivated in India.

Use Holy Basil Essential Oil in inhaler and diffuser blends to enhance focus and ease anxiety and stress. It has the ability to determine what the body needs and adapt. (It can be energizing or relaxing). It also provides immune protection, increases mental alertness, and fights muscle pain and stiffness.

Holy Basil Oil is an oil that should be used sparingly when applying topically (1% dilution – 9 drops per ounce) to avoid possible dermal irritation or sensitivity.

Tulsi (Holy Basil) blends well with Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Citronella, Clary Sage, Ginger, Lemon, Marjoram, Spearmint and Tea Tree.
