The Caraway (Carum carvi) plant is native to Europe and western Asia and widely cultivated in other locations. This oil is steam distilled from the dried ripe seed. The seeds are curved with five distinct pale ridges. It is a biennial plant with smooth, furrowed stems, finely cut leaves and clusters of tiny white flowers.

Caraway seeds are related to dill and fennel. It is a colorless to pale yellow clear liquid. with a light consistency. Caraway Essential Oil has a sweet spicy odor with a slight peppery smell. The oil can help with digestion or indigestion; Asthma, Laryngitis, Nervousness, and provides support for other health conditions.
