Coriander Essential Oil

Botanical Name: Coriandrum sativum

100% Pure therapeutic grade essential oil

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is a strong, aromatic herb with bright green, delicate leaves and clusters of lacey white flowers which turn into brown, round seeds. It is native to Europe, western Asia, and naturalized in North America and cultivated everywhere. This oil has its origins in France and India. The oil is steam distilled from the crushed ripe seeds.

It produces a colorless to pale yellow liquid that has a sweet, herbaceous and spicy fragrance. Coriander seeds have been found in Egyptian tombs, and have been used therapeutically in Chinese medicines for thousands of years. It blends well with Clary sage, Bergamot, Neroli, Jasmine, Petitgrain, Sandalwood, Pine, Cypress, Ginger, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Cassia, Lemongrass, and other spice oils. Coriander is generally non-toxic, non-irritating, and non-sensitizing. Large doses can cause confusion. Use caution when pregnant or nursing.

Essential oils can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. They can be used as single (neat) essential oils or in essential oil blends depending on user experience and desired benefit. Earth’s Own Essentials acquires essential oils from multiple suppliers and uses only 100% Pure Therapeutic and/or Organic essential oils in our blends and neat oils. We consistently search for the best oils at fair market prices.
