Turmeric Oil is warm, earthy, and spicy. Turmeric essential oil is often used to break cycles of chronic worry.  It is soothing for sore muscles and joints, and helps the body naturally restore strength and health. Topical turmeric blends are potent; use a low dilution to protect skin. The plant was called Indian saffron during the middle ages because of its orange-yellow color. The dye is used to color cosmetics, foods, confectionery, fabrics and paper. Our organically grown turmeric essential oil is steam distilled from the rhizomes of flowering plants in the bright, sunny landscape of India.

Turmeric may cause skin irritation in those with sensitive skin. Use in low dilution when applying to the skin, such as in baths or massage oils.
