Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), essential oil is uplifting, can be stimulating to the mind, and promote feelings of happiness. It originated in tropical Asia, and the West Indies, but grapefruit trees are now cultivated throughout the western hemisphere. The oil is steam distilled through the fruit peel, and produces a yellow or greenish mobile liquid with a captivating, fresh, sweet citrus aroma. Monoterpene saturated, this oil is used to support pain, provide inflammation relief, help build up the immune system; provides support as a lymphatic stimulant, and encourages healthy skin.
