Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), is an aromatic, evergreen woody shrub with pale green narrow leaves and violet blue flowers attached to its long and wispy spikes. It is generally regarded as the most versatile of the essential oils. The essential oil is steam distracted from the fresh flowering leaves. Tea Tree Essential Oil

Botanical Name: Melaleuca alternifolia

100% Pure therapeutic grade essential oil

Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) is one of the most popular, and widely used, of the essential oils. It has a long history of use from the Australian aboriginal people. The name comes from its usage as an herbal tea, which was prepared from the leaves. It is a small tree with needle-like leaves, with heads of yellow or purplish flowers. Native to Australia, the Melaleuca alternifolia is not produced outside of Australia, particularly in New South Wales. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs, resulting in a thin, pale yellow-green mobile liquid with a warm, fresh, camphorous aroma.
